Strategy & Leadership Case Studies
I enjoy solving problems, building systems, and bringing clarity to complexity. I've always been drawn to opportunities that improve processes, align stakeholders, and turn ideas into actionable plans. Below are a few examples of how curiosity, creativity, and thoughtful execution have come together to drive meaningful results.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Some of my favorite work has involved bringing people together around a common vision. I enjoy creating clarity, building trust, and helping teams navigate complexity with empathy and purpose.
Challenge
Multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving project requirements.
Approach
Established communication rhythms, feedback loops, and collaborative processes that kept teams aligned.
Outcome
Stronger relationships, improved execution, and greater confidence across projects.
Merchandise Program Optimization
As merchandise programs expanded, I identified opportunities to streamline sourcing, maximize budgets and improve brand consistency across product offerings.
Challenge
Fragmented sourcing and inconsistent product management with unnecessary costs.
Approach
Centralized merchandise acquisition, vendor relationships, and assortment planning.
Outcome
Improved efficiency, strengthened brand consistency, and maximized ROI.
DigiDeck Implementation
Recognizing an opportunity to improve proposal development and brand consistency, I championed the adoption of DigiDeck to create a more scalable and efficient approach to sales proposals.
Challenge
Inconsistent proposal development, time-consuming output, dull/dated technology and limited scalability.
Approach
Researched solutions, secured stakeholder buy-in, and implemented DigiDeck.
Outcome
Improved proposal development, strengthened brand governance, and supported revenue-generating initiatives.
Team Development & Mentorship
I believe people do their best work when they feel supported and trusted. One of my favorite experiences was coaching a coordinator, encouraging her to take ownership of projects, and creating opportunities for her to grow as a designer and creative professional.
Challenge
Supporting project delivery while fostering professional development.
Approach
Provided guidance, feedback, and opportunities to lead creative work with increasing independence.
Outcome
Built confidence, expanded capabilities, and created a stronger, more engaged team.
Stakeholder Visualization
Complex experiential concepts were often difficult for stakeholders to visualize. To improve communication and alignment, I taught myself SketchUp and incorporated visualization into the approval process.
Challenge
Difficulty communicating spatial concepts and project intent for large trade show activations.
Approach
Developed visual models to support presentations and stakeholder discussions.
Outcome
Enhanced understanding, improved alignment, and accelerated approvals.
