DigiDeck Proposal Management
Successful destination marketing is built on consistent storytelling. When San Diego Tourism Authority adopted DigiDeck, the opportunity extended beyond implementing new software—it was about creating a centralized platform that empowered teams to share San Diego's story with clarity, consistency, and confidence. By bringing together creative assets, destination content, and cross-functional collaboration, the platform strengthened how the organization connected with meeting planners, partners, and visitors around the world.
Role: Design & Production Manager
Organization: San Diego Tourism Authority
Project: DigiDeck Digital Proposal Management Implementation
Focus: Creative Operations • Change Management • Workflow Optimization • Brand Governance • Technology Implementation
The Challenge
Sales marketing assets were stored across multiple locations, making it difficult for employees to quickly find current, approved materials for proposals. Teams often spent unnecessary time searching for assets, increasing the risk of outdated materials being used and creating inconsistencies across customer-facing communications.
The organization needed:
A centralized, templated digital proposal management solution
Faster access to approved marketing materials
Stronger brand consistency
Improved collaboration between Marketing and Citywide Sales
A scalable system to support future growth and drive revenue
My Role
As Design & Production Manager, I led the evaluation, selection, implementation, and adoption of the organization's digital proposal management platform.
Responsibilities included:
Researching and sourcing technology solutions
Building the business case for implementation
Championing organizational adoption
Asset organization and development
Brand governance
Workflow optimization
Cross-functional collaboration
Employee training and support
Solution
After evaluating available solutions, I identified DigiDeck as the platform best suited to support the organization's evolving needs.
I led the implementation by:
Researching and sourcing a digital asset management platform aligned with organizational goals.
Building internal support by demonstrating the long-term operational value of a centralized system.
Organizing and migrating assets, and building templates into a structured, user-friendly platform.
Developing consistent asset organization that made approved materials easier to find and use.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the platform supported both Marketing and Citywide Sales.
Championing adoption across teams by promoting the platform as the organization's primary resource for creating proposals.
Establishing processes that improved long-term brand governance and asset management.
Outcome
I led the platform implementation, organized visual assets and destination content, established governance standards, and partnered across departments to ensure long-term adoption. By creating a single source of truth for presentations and marketing materials, DigiDeck improved efficiency, strengthened collaboration, and equipped teams with compelling storytelling tools that better represented San Diego to audiences around the world.
